Portals Vells

Portals Vells

Portals Vells opens into three small beaches of turquoise waters — Sa Platgeta, Platja del Mago and Platja del Rei — all embraced by dense pine forest descending naturally to the sea, creating a sheltered anchorage of exceptional scenic beauty. It is an ideal place to stop the yacht, swim in crystal-clear waters and enjoy a silence interrupted only by the sound of the Mediterranean.

From the sea, Portals Vells reveals its most authentic character: a perfect area for anchoring, snorkelling and relaxed coastal exploration, where the clear and accessible seabed invites guests to remain in the water for hours.

One of the most distinctive moments of the stop is the visit to the Cova de la Mare de Déu, accessible from the shore, where history merges with the landscape. It was here, during the 14th and 15th centuries, that sandstone blocks were extracted for the construction of the Cathedral of Santa Maria of Palma and the church of Església de Santa Eulàlia.

Portals Vells is a stop that combines navigation, swimming and discovery within a single point of the journey, offering a serene, aesthetic and deeply authentic maritime experience connected to the essence of Mallorca’s coastline.
