Caló des Moro

Caló des Moro

Caló des Moro, on the southeast coast of Mallorca within the municipality of Santanyí, is one of the most iconic coves of the Balearic coastline due to the intensity of its natural configuration. Framed by low rocky walls and Mediterranean vegetation descending sharply towards the sea, it opens as a small inlet of fine sand and exceptionally clear turquoise waters. From the sea, its entrance is visually striking: a compact and almost enclosed space where the colour of the water dominates the entire scene.

Anchoring nearby allows for a highly direct and sensory swimming experience, with shallow waters and a completely natural setting free from visible infrastructure or built elements. It is a place that feels more like a discovery than a destination, where the scale is intimate and the surrounding landscape takes over entirely. Caló des Moro is experienced through moments of brief intensity: an aesthetic, elemental and short stop within a nautical route along the southeast coast of Mallorca.
